Mentoring for your college auditions | The MT Project

There’s just something about being on stage that I can’t really describe. It’s almost like being transported to this magical place where nothing else in the whole world matters. You know when you see something or hear something, and it just feels like perfection? It’s like that.

All I know is that I want to do this for the rest of my life.

What is The MT Project?

The MT Project is a part of a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing arts initiative called Center Stage Studios. It is our mission to provide a mentoring relationship to students who wish to pursue the arts, specifically theatre or musical theatre, at the collegiate level.

The unfortunate reality of getting into college for theatre is that it’s difficult, and receiving guidance from the right person could make a big difference in your acceptances. We’d love to help you!

What others are saying…

Adriane was an absolute joy to work with. I was having trouble making my college decision and my friend actually suggested I should consult Adriane. We emailed back and forth a few times about my options. Her advice and knowledge about schools and their programs was phenomenal. It was informational while still being personal and not biased. She completely exceeded my expectations. I would not have been so positive about my final school decision if Adriane had not shared her wisdom. I wish I could have met and worked with her sooner. Working with Adriane brought schools to my attention that I would have never even considered, including my program that I now love so much. Her vast knowledge of the college landscape is so valuable as a prospective MT student because looking at the hundreds of schools that offer degrees in musical theatre is overwhelming. She really helped me narrow down my choices and pick programs that were right for me. Even after that first step was taken, she stayed by my side throughout the whole process. I am so grateful for her help and support.

The college search is difficult but adding the layer of auditioning for a musical theatre program can seem daunting. With Adriane’s guidance my daughter was able to sort through schools with a clear vision. My daughter was also able to gain an understanding of how to choose the right material for her “type”. Adriane’s services were a tremendous help! Good Luck!
